I wish to know if the section on this document entitled: “Payments which cannot be used to apply WEP guarantee provision” (specifically the Australia “clause”, which applies to me) can be used/leveraged in an appeal to a recent WEP reduction in my payments? I am in Australia.

If the pension is based only on residency and not on earned income, then it will not affect your Social Security payments. The WEP rule does not apply to these pensions.
