Professional Details
Wes resides in Jacksonville, just an hour and a half from his hometown of Gainesville, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Florida, an education that laid the foundation for his career in financial services. As a licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent, he is dedicated to helping retirees safeguard their financial futures with clarity and confidence.
Wes holds the respected Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA ®) designation and the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services. These credentials uniquely position him to guide retirees and their families through the often complex decisions surrounding Social Security, retirement income planning, and long-term care strategies.
Drawing from both personal and professional experience, Wes is passionate about helping families avoid the stress of unexpected financial burdens in retirement. He believes no family should lose sleep over financial security—especially during life’s most vulnerable years.
Earlier in his career, Wes served as a stockbroker and sales manager, focusing on stocks and bond-based investment strategies designed to grow wealth during the accumulation phase of life. Today, his practice is devoted almost exclusively to the distribution phase -helping clients convert savings into reliable, sustainable income streams, including guaranteed income solutions designed to last a lifetime. As he often says, know one can be an expert at everything, accumulation and distribution are “apples and oranges,” requiring very different strategies and expertise.
Outside the office, you may find Wes in his big red Jeep, heading east to the beach or west to his family farm in Fort White, Florida. Above all, Wes is a devoted follower of Christ Jesus. He is passionate about the Florida Gators and cherishes time with family and friends, including his church community, parents, brother, daughter, son-in-law, three grandchildren, and his girl friend, Michelle.
