Professional Details
Douglas Dubitsky is a Registered Social Security Analyst® (RSSA®) and experienced financial professional who helps individuals and couples make informed decisions about Social Security, retirement income, and protecting their financial independence throughout retirement.
With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Doug has worked extensively in retirement income planning, investments, annuities, life insurance, and long-term care planning. His career has included senior leadership roles with some of the nation’s leading financial services companies, as well as working directly with individuals and families as a financial advisor.
Doug believes that Social Security should not be viewed as an isolated decision. When and how benefits are claimed can affect retirement income, taxes, spousal and survivor benefits, investment withdrawals, and the amount of reliable income available throughout retirement. He helps clients evaluate these tradeoffs and coordinate Social Security with other sources of retirement income.
A particular focus of Doug’s practice is creating sustainable retirement income strategies. This includes helping clients determine how Social Security, pensions, retirement accounts, investments, and guaranteed income sources can work together to provide dependable income while allowing other assets to remain invested for growth and flexibility.
Doug also helps individuals and families plan for the potential financial impact of long-term care. Rather than waiting until a care event occurs and relying solely on retirement assets, he helps clients explore strategies for funding future care needs while protecting retirement income, assets, and financial flexibility.
His approach is educational and practical: understand the numbers, consider the alternatives, and develop a coordinated strategy based on each client’s individual circumstances, priorities, and goals.
