As a licensed insurance agent with a focus on helping people navigate the complexities of Medicare, I realized I wanted to know the inner workings of Social Security so that I could best support not only my clients but others facing those tough decisions. If there’s anything more confusing than Medicare, it’s Social Security! And making the right decisions on both programs is incredibly important to seniors. The Social Security “Roadmap Analysis” from RSSA has been awesome to use. It was simple to load the data required to “setup” the tool for my wife and my particular situation, including our historical earnings download from the Social Security website and upload into the roadmap tool. The roadmap’s output (Heatmap, Break-even Point, and Primary Insurance Amount), were all simple to follow and allows your own “what if” analysis to see the effect of your future decisions.
