With so many rules, possibilities, and only one chance to get it “right”, the land of Social Security can be downright confusing. As a Registered Social Security Analyst®, my team and I are dedicated to helping families sift through all the information and make decisions to optimize their claiming strategy. Like anything in this world, Social Security does not exist in a bubble. We are very intentional about taking a holistic, strategic approach when looking at Social Security and it’s impact on other asset-related factors.
Prior to my service, I spent a number of years in the public education system as a Physical Education Teacher and coach girls fastpitch softball before moving into the world of entrepreneurship and launching a personal training and coaching business dedicated to helping others achieving their best, strongest self. Eventually that business morphed into a brick and mortar gym called The Foundry Queen Creek. Throughout nearly 2 decades of teaching and coaching, it’s safe to say my true calling in life is teaching and serving others.
When I’m not helping families design their legacy, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend Frank and our two pups Ember and Freya, a German Shepard mix and German Shorthair Pointer. We love to hike all over the Phoenix Valley, spend time up in the mountains of Greer, Arizona, and volunteering in various organizations throughout North Phoenix.

Maximize Your Benefits
Discover important information for your situation.
Married
If you are married, you may be able to collect up to one-half of your spouse’s Social Security benefit. This won’t affect your spouse’s checks. Ask an RSSA® for details.
Divorced
If you are divorced and 62 or older, you may qualify to receive Social Security benefits from your ex-spouse — in addition to your own Social Security payments. Ask an RSSA® for details.
Widowed
If your spouse has passed away, you may be eligible for a survivor benefit. The extra money may be essential for you. Ask an RSSA® for details.
Single
If you are single, and solely responsible for your retirement, making the optimal Social Security claiming decision is particularly important. Ask an RSSA® about your options.
Self-Employed
As a self-employed person, you may be able to decrease your payroll taxes — yet still receive the maximum income from Social Security. Ask an RSSA® for details.
Disability
Social Security can provide valuable disability benefits if you qualify, but these benefits — and how you qualify for them — are often misunderstood. Ask an RSSA® for details.
Immigrant
If you are a lawful permanent resident, but not yet a citizen, you may still qualify for Social Security benefits. Ask an RSSA® for details.
While we had a decent idea of how our Social Security would play out, we really didn’t have a way to easily calculate different scenarios and see how the timing of claiming benefits would affect our short and long-term amounts.
Brittany took the time to create three possible scenarios based on when each of claims. It was helpful to see where we were correct and where we miscalculated.
She’s super easy to work with, too. We’re happy with what we learned.
