I’m a local mom, agency owner, and proud wife. My husband and I have three beautiful children, and when I’m not working with clients, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family.

I began my career as a captive insurance agent, focused primarily on Medicare. But the more people I sat across the table from, the more I realized two very important things.

First, there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to Medicare. Every person has different health needs, financial circumstances, prescriptions, doctors, and priorities. I knew I wanted the freedom to offer my clients more choices, which ultimately led me to start Maichel Retirement Solutions, an independent agency representing multiple major carriers and Medicare products.

But as our agency grew and we sat with more and more families, we realized something even bigger: retirement is much more complex than Medicare.

Medicare is only one piece of the retirement puzzle. Social Security claiming decisions, retirement income, healthcare costs, life insurance, long-term care considerations, and protecting the assets you’ve spent a lifetime building can all play an important role in creating a successful retirement.

That realization led me to expand my education and become a Registered Social Security Analyst® (RSSA®) so I could help clients better understand one of the most important retirement decisions they will make—when and how to claim Social Security.

Today, our goal at Maichel Retirement Solutions is not simply to help you choose an insurance plan. We want to help you look at the bigger retirement picture.

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “Who do you work for?”

My answer is simple: I work for YOU.

Education has always been at the heart of what I do. I dedicate time each year to teaching Medicare and retirement education in our communities because I believe people should understand their options before they are ever asked to make a decision.

When you sit down with us, we start by listening. We learn about your health, finances, family, goals, and concerns. Then we educate you on your options and help you build a strategy tailored to your individual needs.

First, we listen. Then, we teach. Finally, we help you protect your health and your wealth.

Retirement shouldn’t begin with simply picking a Medicare plan. It should begin with understanding how all the pieces of your retirement work together.

I look forward to meeting you and helping make the transition into Medicare, Social Security, and retirement a little less confusing—and a lot more confident.
