What I Do:
I help people understand their options and obligations under the Medicare system.
I am a resource to individuals & financial professionals (& employers) for questions, plan comparison & ultimately help choosing the best Medicare option for them, balancing coverage & costs.
Medicare is a source of stress just like taxes. Think of me as any other professional advisor you refer to (CPA, Estate Atty, Mortgage Broker). I make you look good by being a trusted resource for your clients as they approach age 65.
“… John will be 65 this Fall, I think it makes sense to schedule time with my Medicare Advisor to help you understand the program and get your questions answered…”
What I Offer:
Expertise. Medicare is a complicated system with convoluted rules, exceptions to those rules, and LIFETIME penalties for those that misunderstand them. It doesn’t make sense to try and figure this out on one’s own.
Free Consultations!!! I am compensated, per CMS stipulations, by the carriers that work with Medicare NOT the client.
What Distinguishes Me:
Professionalism and the recognition that I can’t be expert in all areas. I work Financial & Insurance pros to help their clients. I do not do this seasonally or part-time. I provide year-round Medicare help to people turning 65, losing employer coverage and other qualifying events.
I am independent and serve as a fiduciary by being carrier agnostic.
How I Work:
I start by educating clients on the system and their options.
With that baseline we can focus on individual circumstances, such as health, budget, alternatives, etc.
Once a plan is chosen, I help the individual I aid in the enrollment of the selected plan, deal with any issues or questions that arise, then review coverage annually for changes.
