Mike graduated from Missouri State University with a BS in Financial Management & Investments. He joined James Financial Partners as a fully licensed Financial Planner and Investment Adviser over 6 years ago. Prior to joining JFP, he enjoyed 20 years leading Connell Insurance as a Principle and Commercial Producer in all lines where he worked with JFP as the financial arm for Connell.
His passion is helping people reach their financial goals on their terms and timeline with comprehensive financial planning or customized investment management. He enjoys helping people understand their investments and finds most clients enjoy becoming more financially literate and understanding the “why” behind their investments. Working at JFP as an Independent Financial firm, he enjoys partnering with a number of industry leading professionals to find the best fit for his clients with customized financial plans and investment portfolios. Mike prefers to take a fiduciary approach with his clients which professionally and legally binds him to act in the best interests of his clients. Over serving clients is his primary goal.
Mike is a true Ozark native and has lived in the Branson area his whole life, including a few years in Joplin and Springfield. You’ll find he is very family oriented and has two beautiful girls in their 20s with his wife Marta of 30 years. “Raising our daughters in the Midwest and specifically the Ozarks has been a real blessing”… He stays very active in the community through “Service above Self” as a long time member of Branson Rotary, life-long member of the United Methodist Church, Masons and Shriners along with support to a wide variety of charities that focus on helping Tri-lakes area. His office is in Branson where he is active as a member of the Branson, Hollister and the Table Rock Lake Chambers of Commerce.
