Professional Profile

Jim Pashalidis is a Rochester native. Upon graduating from St. John Fisher College, he became an elementary teacher in the Rochester City School District. After a 20-year career in education, Jim found the world of Medicare through his own need for consultation when trying to oversee his own parents’ Medicare coverage needs. It was through that process that he decided to change career paths and become an insurance broker who specialized in Medicare.  He obtained his NY State Insurance License in 2020 and joined M-Power Agency LLC in 2023.  Discussions with numerous clients identified a need that others were desperately seeking advisement in the area of social security as well.  Now, Jim is a Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA®).

Known as “The Teacher”, Jim specifically enjoys providing educational opportunities to community organizations and individual members. He is passionate about providing clear, in-depth tutorials for others so they can feel confident about the decisions they must make involving their social security and healthcare needs.

Jim enjoys several extracurricular activities, including exercise, refereeing collegiate soccer, and watching sports on television or in person.  He is most proud of being a husband, father, and son.
