About NARSSA

The National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts (NARSSA) provides education, training, certification, and software tools for professionals who help clients make informed Social Security decisions. Through our RSSA® certification program, continuing education offerings, and RSSA Roadmap software, we equip advisors with the knowledge and resources needed to serve their clients with confidence.

We are seeking an Education Program Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an RSSA who enjoys supporting learners, presenting, and contributing to educational programs. The position offers opportunities for growth and increased responsibility over time.

Position Summary

The Education Program Specialist supports learners throughout the RSSA certification process while contributing to the delivery and development of NARSSA’s educational programs. This individual will provide learner support, present educational webinars, assist with curriculum updates, and help improve the overall learner experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learner Support & Member Success
  • Respond to learner course and RSSA Roadmap questions via email
  • Support learners throughout the RSSA certification process
  • Maintain learner support resources and communications
2. Education Delivery
  • Develop expertise in the RSSA curriculum and RSSA Roadmap software
  • Present webinars and educational sessions
  • Participate in live discussions and Q&A sessions
3. Curriculum & Content Development
  • Review, update, and maintain course content and support materials
  • Review learner feedback and develop improvements
  • Support the development of continuing education and future educational offerings
4. Special Projects & Program Improvement
  • Participate in educational initiatives and special projects
  • Support implementation of new programs, resources, and technology tools
  • Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals

Required Qualifications

  • Active RSSA designation in good standing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to groups in virtual environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting webinars, workshops, or educational sessions
  • Experience teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring
  • Experience creating educational or instructional content
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and software tools
  • Experience in financial services, retirement planning, insurance, or related fields
