One of the great joys of my life has been cofounding Freedom Financial Partners and watching the overwhelmingly positive client response to a new type of financial planning and investment management firm. A firm that starts with values-focused financial planning that looks different to each client depending on their individual goals and objectives. Some of my best days in this profession have been helping clients make financial choices they did not even anticipate they could make, such as retiring early or helping other family members.
I have been in the industry since 1993 and have never been so thrilled about the tools that we are able to offer clients to help lead them on long-term financial and investment management journeys. They include some of the industry-leading tools to help clients decipher financial planning goals around retirement. They also include tools to help business owners with needs like retirement plans or how liquidity events will impact their long-term financial plan.
I lead the investment management portion of the Freedom Financial Partners business where I seek to continually evaluate potential new investments and assets classes, as well as educating clients on major market events. I am also heavily involved in the qualified retirement plan sector where we seek to build out 401k plans that grow with the businesses of our clients.
With all of the growth since the founding of FFP, I have been extremely excited about the internal team we have surrounded ourselves with that work with our clients on a day-to-day-basis. I am also excited about the partnerships we have built out with leading CPAs, tax planners, estate planners and others that allow us to continue to elevate the service we provide to our clients.
I work with a variety of different clients including business owners, professionals and retirees. I would encourage you to reach out to us if you want to work with a new type of financial planning firm that starts with your goals and builds out a financial plan to help you achieve them. I would be excited to hear from you!
On the personal side:
I love to volunteer time to help at my children’s schools. I am also a shooting sports enthusiast that now takes a great deal of pride watching as my son takes up the sport. I enjoy every day living with my family in Woodbury, MN. I try to make it outside every nice day I can and can often be found on the rink with my kids, fishing and hiking. You may see or hear me cruising around Woodbury on the weekend in my classic 1970 Chevelle.
