Mikal Abdullah’s philosophy to life’s greatest achievements is to serve others. This started very early in life serving his country with the United States Navy in Vietnam, then serving his Philadelphia community joining the ranks of the Philadelphia Police Department. After retirement from the department, Mikal served as an expert witness in Civil Rights matters involving the Philadelphia Police Department’s application of specific policies and procedures. Additionally, as an Enrolled Agent, Mikal has full authority to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in audits, collections, and examinations. Mikal has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Temple University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Philadelphia University.
Mikal feels the capstone to all his academic achievements has been earning the Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA®) credential. As an RSSA® we help potential retirees to maneuver through the complexities of the 2700 rules and other exceptions within the Social Security Administration (SSA) Program. The obvious first choice for most retirees has been to contact the Social Security Administration but employees are mandated not to give personal advice beyond the very basic.
Decisions don’t have to be hard; working with an RSSA® is the right choice, a choice that will help you develop a comprehensive Social Security analysis based on your unique circumstances and specific retirement goals. As your RSSA® I will work in unity to implement optimal claiming strategies to maximize retirement benefits over the clients’ life expectancies. Act now don’t delay for each passing day, week, month, or year can be the equivalent of many tens of thousands of dollars of your lifetime benefits left on the table.
The Registered Social Security Analyst® has the education, support, and necessary resources to achieve but one objective that is to simplify for the client the processes of the Social Security claiming decisions.
We’re always available for a consultation, we are just a phone call, email, or text message away. We look forward to working with you.

If you are divorced and 62 or older, you may qualify to receive Social Security benefits from your ex-spouse — in addition to your own Social Security payments. Ask an RSSA® for details.
If your spouse has passed away, you may be eligible for a survivor benefit. The extra money may be essential for you. Ask an RSSA® for details.
If you are single, and solely responsible for your retirement, making the optimal Social Security claiming decision is particularly important. Ask an RSSA® about your options.
As a self-employed person, you may be able to decrease your payroll taxes — yet still receive the maximum income from Social Security. Ask an RSSA® for details.
