  • When is the best time to claim?
  • Can I get benefits from my ex?
  • What should I do if I'm self-employed?
  • Can my children get benefits?
  • What about dependents with disabilities
  • How will my pension impact my benefits?
  • And so much more...

At the completion of your analysis, you will be provided with a comprehensive planning report outlining your benefit considerations in a way you can easily understand; with instructions for when and how to file, calculations, definitions, and much more.

About Eric Sorensen

I was born and raised in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah and truly love everything this valley has to offer especially the diverse seasons. I graduated from Utah State University majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. The best thing that happened during my time at USU was meeting my wife of over 35 years Kimberly. We raised our four “Little Women” daughters which are all married and have given us, so far, seven wonderful grandkids.

I started my professional career in mortgage lending spending 15 years in various capacities ranging from packaging loans to ship to investors, loan officer and finally EVP of Secondary Marketing, board member and part owner of the company. In 2002, after the sale of our mortgage company, I transitioned to insurance by starting a 20 year journey owning an Allstate agency in Logan, UT.

I truly enjoy working directly with clients, having helped thousands of people realize the dream of home ownership or helping them protect their lives and assets from life’s uncertainties. The path to the Medicare/supplemental career was an easy decision that allows me to be more involved with my clients helping them as trusted resource for any questions or concerns they may have and tailoring a Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplemental plan that best suites their personal needs.

I am very excited to discuss and advise my client's with their social security planning. Working as a member of your team of experts including, attorneys, accountants and financial planners is essential in today's retirement environment. I look forward to working with you!
